Mt.4,19:Follow me

In this passage from the Gospel of Matthew, we find Jesus beginning his public ministry.Without any fanfare, Jesus walks along the shore and finds people very busy engaged in their daily tasks of fishing. We can picture the scene very beautifully as we are familiar with such scenes on our coastal areas.
Jesus sees two brothers very busy engaged in pulling back their net from the sea.He calls them, with no introductions, not even mentioning any plans about his work or their ministry. Just the words, follow me and I will make you fishers of men. We would find them crazy for having their work and following him without getting any assurance from him about their future. But the left and followed him.So too, a little later, another group was engaged in their work along with their father. he called them, James and John  an the too followed him without asking any questions.Surprisingly, the left their father, right there itself to take care of their work. The too had no fear or reservations in their minds about their future.
What we realizes is that right at the call is elf, the felt the force of the call of Jesus. The knew from hearing the call that Jesus had everything the needed for their lives. The had total confidence and absolute trust in the power of Jesus.
we too should have the trust in Jesus. Jesus has called us to the minister, profession or job in our
life. He will be there with us as long as relive listening to Him. He will change all obstacles on our way.
Lord, help me tp put my trust in you as the Apostles did.Your call is enough for me. As long as you are present in my life, I can walk with confidence and hope.
